Whangara Camp

Whangara camp
Finally, we arrived at Whangara it was nice and sunny.
I was already dying for a swim. After we unloaded the bus and got all of our bags out we had to leave them in one big group and walked over to the marae were the year 9s helpers for the camp were going to greet us on.

The next day, we had a whole lot of cool actives. My top two would be the boogie boarding and the surfing, and the surfing was lots of fun, I catched some waves and also wiped out a couple of times and the waves were great, the boogie boarding was awesome to, we had to get fifteen  people from our active groups on one wave to bet the record of fourteen, the waves were nice and big so that was alot of help but our max of people we got was thirteen, cause one of us hoped out that was still good cause we got second. But all the actives all up together was so tiring so I had a goodnight sleep.

The day to leave came so quick, It was just a great camp. I could stay longer. Can't wait to go to the next school camp.
